Tamura Analog 48 channel mixer

Struggling to find any info about this mixer. Anybody know anything about them? Made for the japanese market, with dynamics and eq on every channel. Looking at a second hand opportunity.

cheers

Louis
ps It doesnt seem to have a model number and the manual is totally in Japanese!

Its in storage, so will be a nightmare for the guy selling it to set up for me to try. He says its in almost 100% working order, but wanted to try to get some feel for what it sounds like before we go to the trouble to set it up.
Might have to do it the hard way!!!
would be nice to have dynamics and eq on each channel!!
Cheers

Has nothing to do with your question but Tamura makes wall wart power supplies too.

Have you got a PDF of the manual? I can skim through it and give you some info if you want.
They only make digital consoles now I think.

If its got EQ AND dynamics on every channel then It can't be bad.. can it?

If its a good deal in your opinion, I'd just go for it. if it doesn't work out then you can rack up some pretty unique equipment by the sounds of it, or sell it after a bit of rework (if it needs it)

you maybe right. it is hard to sell anything in NZ at higher values, especially large format mixers. dunno how I will get rid of my old MRX and argosy desk if I do buy it :-(

Here is a tiny bit of the manual, think it is just the channel strip stuff. The manual is huge, with oodles of graphs and schematics, but not sure what most of them are of.
