Reverb Tank

I was in the studio a few years ago and Nick Didia was mixing a Rage Against The Machine song. He had a stand up reverb tank, with Red Handles on top. It sounded amazing.....any ideas on what it was? He says he uses that one on all his snares he records.

The PrincetonDigital reverb plug can come extremely close to simulating it.

you should also check out the tc dvr2 algorithm, it's modelled after this unit.
