Thread Starter | SSL X-Rack
Cool, the first recallable analogue compressor that I know. And it's a rack, so there should be EQs and pres coming. I never worked on an SSL console, I just know their bus compressor (the new one). How do the compressors of the channelstrips sound that are in the X-Rack? Thanks! |

They are the same as in the AWS900/9000k, and different to the G Series Stereo compressor. They sound PHAT |

The modules are only mono units. I believe that the prototype had them originally as 2 x units in a 2-slot bay. That price is for a single-slot mono unit AFAIK. BTW - they are linkable, well at least there appears to be a link switch on the front of it... |

On the new pics, you can indeed see that every comp/gate is an individual module with own screws, unlike the first version. Cool |
