What do you all use transparant limiting on the 2 bus for? To reduce the dynamic range of the song to make it louder?

Michael, I'm lovin' my API 2500. It does some way cool stuff, and can be very suble if needed. the STC8 is cool I've heard, but don't own one.....YET!!! I mixed the Waltham record with a LCA2B, it niceley opened up the mix. I tried the FXG, but it flattened it out too much, for the Rock stuff. I can send you a copy and you can check it out.
