Thread Starter | Upgrade my A/D converter I'm using a PreSonus Firebox Studio right now, which is really all I can afford right now for 8 channels. But I was thinking most tracks other than drums can be recorded with just 1 or 2 inputs, so I was thinking of getting a better quality converter for those tracks. I was thinking of getting the Apogee one or duet, but I'm not on a Mac. Does anyone know of any other quality converters with 1 or 2 inputs that you can use with Windows? Any recommendations? |

Thread Starter | Yes, funds are limited. I'm going to be blowing most of my funds on a LA-610, but I need a decent pre instead of the crappy stuff I'm using. Really the Pre-sonus is just there to get the job done for drums until I can get something a little more substantial. All I need is something to go into my DAW for tracking. |
