Mic Shootout - for a specific voice

Hey guys. I'm a bit overwhelmed - looking at a bunch of mics for my voice. Would you be willing to take a listen and let me know what you think?

Here's the style I'll be recording in:
Hello Industry on Muxtape

Here are the mic clips:

I'll tell you which mics they are after some feedback rolls in. Thanks guys!

ps. Excuse the consistent raising of pitch with every track. Wasn't singing to anything.

sincerely,
nathan peterson

Hi,I can't go on hello industry but my thought is I prefer n°3 (without that bad low frequency, high pass?too much proximity effect?) and then n°1.
Good luck!

Thanks for you thoughts guys. Here's what I used:

1. 414 ULS
2. 319 (not modded)
3. 421
4. Heil PR20
5. Heil PR40
6. Heil PR30
7. U195

Signal chain was just a Duet (pres and converters).

I've gotten feedback across the board, so I'm not zero'ing in much yet. But I still appreciate you guys taking a listen. Thanks.

Got my hands on another mic I've been wanting to try, so here's another.

Any thoughts on these last two compared to the first batch?

Thanks!

I liked #7 the best. #5 and #6 next. #8 after that. #1 was ok if you want a more subdued, darker sound. #2 was weak. #3 sounded like you were singing inside a box. I'm surprised that was the top vote so far.

Surprised I liked the PR30 and PR40; I have a PR30 and never liked it for voice.
