If you like PMC and are used to their transmission line monitors.......
As with all gear and even more with speakers it is a very personal choice therefore...............my opinion.....GO FOR THEM!

They are very neutral, maybe just a little laid back.
Make sure the room is up with the speakers (i.e. properly designed and tuned).
You will also need a good amp (Bryston 4bsst or 14bsst or 2 x 7bsst or Pas labs or similar sepending on budget and taste).
You will also need good stands.
Take into consideration their wide dispersion (as stated above you need a properly designed room).

Last thing if you can get a set of spades and bananas and biwire them.

I have a pair on appro. here at the moment. They are stunning in many ways. Probably the best I have heard in terms of dispersion, detail, imaging, bass extension. HOWEVER I have some issues with them which I will need to resolve before I buy. I am working with the company to sort these so fingers crossed.
The HF response is tweaked for wide dispersion, you need to be well away from these boys. I would suggest at least 2-3 Metres. The need height as well so that the MID is above ear level, with the HF much higher. The LF could easily overload a small room. In short they need space to perform.
My room is too small for them but if I can get the HF response flattened.......

Check that you have the E.R. zones well covered (i.e. absorption).
That is very important and you can empirically check it yourself (the mirror trick!).
The bass only becomes a problem if you are in a Very small room.
If you are in a small (but not very small) room you'll need to look at your broadband absorbers.
I agree about the fact that you have to be away from then but after all they are midfields, not nearfields.

They are in a different price range.
If you can stretch the extra it is well worth it in my opinion.
It is a noticeable step up.
