How about a DMP3 vs. Great River etc.. Anyone have any clips?

Dude - you gotta check out Lynn Fuston's Pre comparison CD from 3D audio - it'll definitely give you a bunch of useful info. Lynn will tell you that in the end you have to use your own ears, and all the usual professional considerations and qualifiers, but I just did tests on both the Pre CD and the Mic CD, and they were VERY helpful (sorry to speak for you, Lynn). By the way, since they're blind listening tests, please feel free to post your results for us.

BTW - I posted my Mic CD results a few weeks ago at my thread reviewing the Mic comparison CD. No, I don't work for Lynn - but I really do appreciate all the work he and his buddies have done.

your mileage can (and probably will) vary, but i smelled the cheap stuff a mile away, blind, repeatedly.
