Please help! I have a HUGE emergency!!!

Hello Hello,

A little bit of wine got spilt on my AWS 900+ into the fader area. When i pulled the faders out there was one of the circuits that had a couple of its connections missing. Before that all the other banks of faders started to freak out and now they wont budge once the console is turned on. Is there a safety that kicks in on the board when something shorts? Is there a reset button on the board?

Thanks for your help...

Bobby

Contact SSL. Even if you are in a different time zone you should be able to contact someone either in the UK or US who will have the skinny on this.

Certainly call SSL ASAP. And keep the AWS off.

+1.
Go call SSL. They are very friendly, professional and fast.
I once had a prob with my AWS900, too, they were a great help.
And def. leave the console switched off for a while!!

Wine?? What's wrong with beer like the rest of us! Seriously though, the funniest thread I ever read was when someone spilt beer into their AWS. Before the hilarity started there was some good advice. I suggest you search for it (this goes for anyone who didn't read it at the time - but be prepared to spedn an hour laughing)

EDIT: Here's the link: HELP!!! Beer in my AWS 900!!!!!!!
