love mytek, love apogee?

I don't want to start a this versus this thread, but how do these brands compare soundwise and pricewise. I've only just become aware of how serious these mytek units are in the last couple o days and would like to know if anyone has had experience of both apogee and mytek side by side?

Still want to gather as much info as poss on high end convertors before upgrading.
