Is lavry gold mk2 same as mk3

And i know you can upgrade mk2 to mk3 does anybody have a idea how much is it?
And is it the same. And how would you compare them to the prisms dream. I might have a change at getting it for a good price the mk2? i would use it as my final mixdown converter

Impossible to say that it would be bad at anything. I remember hearing some examples of an acoustic guitar through the Lavery Gold and also through an Apogee AD16. The AD16 sounded more musical to me at least in that example. The Gold may be too good for some applications. Where you really want that level of precision of course would be in other AD-DA loops later down the chain (an Gold AD on your 2 buss).

The Mk2 is alot more prone to overheating in comparison to the Mk3, i guess that is one of the major improvements they made to the design in the newer model. It is also the reason why most people do upgrade to MKIII.

With regards to pricing... you would have to contact Lavry directly or one of their delears in your territory.
