Thread Starter | LA2A with strange noise level Hello this morning my LA2A (original) sound with a bit high noise level , i replaced immediately the tubes with a new oiriginal U-audio set , but problem seem don't go away, somebody have some info about? what max noise level must be as normal -60db ,-70db ,-80db......? there is a way to misure it? thanks in advance to anyone help me "WW" |

| Sounds like it might be a capacitor that has crapped out. You can look for any that are bulging at the top, but they don't always show physical signs that they have gone bad. |

| What model is it? Is it vintage, re-issue, DIY? Smell the unit for any burning smell? |

| Check out the boys over at DIY here is the link to there LA2A section: All things LA2a related This group is big on LA2A's and is how I built mine. Could need a recapping. It could also be your T4B unit, they go out before most tubes and caps will. If you end up recapping understand the caps will need to burn in before they reach their full sonic potential. |
