Thread Starter | ADAM S3A Burn in time I'm going to be picking up my Adams in about a week and I'm just wondering what is the deal with burning them in? I have heard that some monitors arrive already burned in, is this the case with the Adams? If not how long I should I be burning them in for? Cheers George |

| when I got my S3As, I just started listening. I started kind of soft and got "braver" as time went on. Of course I was in an apartment so pushing the speakers was way past a "comfortable listening level". I have had them for 5 years now and they still sound fukking amazing. About 2 years in, I bought a pair of Shunyata Research "Taipan Alpha" power cables for them. I absolutely recommend auditioning a pair once you have learned your Adams. Just listen to music... It still blows me away. |

| After week or so they started to sound more relaxed, compared to stiffness of the just-out-of-the-box sound. |
