How does the SPHYNX2 (digital audio denmark) 384khz converter sound?

I am wondering if anyone has had a chance to work with the SphynxII.
There arent too many around and until Genex comes out with their 128fs in the spring this is the only one out there.
How does it sound?

I would better wait for 768 kHz DCS, although official release date still not clear.

My question was if anyone had heard this unit since I have not had the chance yet.
128 fs DSD is good enough for me right now.

Is there any software that will edit DSD yet?

no DSD editors yet. just the same old convert down to dxd (pyramix) or 8bit 2.8 mhz for the duration of the edit.

meitner is suposed to be working on their next genration of converters i heard theres a good possibility of 384khz and 128 fps on the DSD side. as well as 192khz pcm out. mabey a 24 ch version? hope your saving your pennies.

agreed. yet another reason to put the tissue paper over your tweeter... the kind with the hand lotion really helps with the >100khz stuff.
