highlights of a PCM 70 / Or What do you use it for?

Hi Pals

We've, better said my studio partner in an inebriation of ebay bidding, just bought a PCM 70. He said that we could use it pretty well for vocals.

Could you tell me what's good and bad on this unit? Some hint's and tipps about it?

Is it worth to keep it, or should we resell it again?

Regards

Keep it and use it for drum rooms - or sell it to me

There is a 3.0 (3.01 maybe, I forget), but most people seem to prefer version 2 the best....

Try the "Rich Plate" on lead Vocal. Mine is stuck there!

as far as i remember right the seller included the presets from version 3.x on a card or so. but i'm looking forward to test that unit on vocals.

is it tricky to use?

easy enogh for me, that's good. i always love it to have a machine where i don't have to "think" too much for getting a good sound

does it also have an expert mode, where you can tweak all kind of parameters?
