| You mean like a DSUB patchbay with TT's on the front so you can get a DSUB->DSUB snake and manage your connections however you wish once everything is on the bay? AudioLot*MixBay - Pro Audio Sales - AudioLot - 888-224-3343

| Yes, I found these online this afternoon: DB25 XLR PATCH BAY Something like that... I've got a pair of MOTU 896HDs and 16 channels of "slutty" preamps in a rack and I just recently custom assembled Canare braided shield starquad cables from each preamp's output to the MOTU inputs. It's neat and tidy for the first time in several years. :-) I think my next purchase may be a Lynx Aurora 16 and although I see the merit and flexibility to the Dsub connection I don't look forward to my rack becoming a mess again. That's why I was thinking of something like I linked to above. Are there other brands? Or is it more likely to just be a custom fab? thanks, mike |

| That looks perfect The main alternative I would think would be breakout cables like Planet Waves dsub to 8 x TRS and then to a balanced patch bay, but that would probably be more expensive.. go with the box you posted |
