Yes, I have them and I love them thumbsupthumbsup I had the S3As before (and still do in studio B). The Xs are a bit more forward in the midrange, to my ear vocals and el. guitars are more natural sounding and more true to whats actually in the mix. Don't get me wrong the S3As are great speakers, mixed tons of albums on those and they translate wonderfully, but on the Xs I can get the mix together a bit easier. There is quite a bit more low end as well (you can dial that in with the built in EQ), to the point that I don't use a sub anymore.

If you have a chance, get a pair into your room and check them out, and then get your wallet out, because you will most likely need it

I've had a pair of H's for a few months now and really like them. Went back and forth with them and the Twin Focals and ended up with the ADAMs.

I have them as well, nice improvement over the s3a's, more mid detail and lows. I also have the barefoot mm27's, they are very different. I like the mids and high's better on the Adams, and the lows on the Barefoots. The barefoots are more scooped, and the Adams are more mid forward. Still making up my mind, though, just recently got both. I am treating the barefoot like mains, and the Adams as near fields, hopefully can afford to keep both.

Re: Anyone heard ADAM S3X yet?

I like my pair of S3X-H a lot. Very open and clear sounding. Good bass if it's in the track to begin with. Brutal to bad mixes.

Need to change your photo to show off the new Adam monitors. Some bass traps and panels in your room might improve things too.
