Thermionic Phoenix SC vs Phoenix Mastering Version

Hallo,

I want to buy one of this two.
Mostly it will work on dancemusic at recording and
on the 2-bus. Should I take the new SC Version for
snappier results or the more clean mastering version?

The sidechain filters won't make it sound snappier, the phoenix is not a 'snappy' compressor, period

The mastering version isn't cleaner per se, there is higher gain structure on the sc model meaning you can slam the input more; but tbh there is more than enough room to drive the input hard with the mastering version.
