Replacing the elastic on my Shockmounts...any advice??

Several of my older shockmounts need to have the elastic replaced. I would also need some sort of small metal clip to crimp over the elastic. Does anyone have a good replacement source for this?

Thanks....

Get the bands from the manufacturer. They are sized according to the stand. If you put one on that is too tight, then it won't isolate the mic from vibrations at all. Too loose and the mic might fall out. If you have the old ones still, you could make the new ones the same size, but I would still recommend buying replacements from the source.

Measure how long it needs to be. Just measure how long half of it is. I have a black spare here that is too short for my 251 mount. If you'll pay the postage, I'll send it to you.
