Moderator edit... -------------------------------------------------- Galaxy Tour confirmed Meet at Galaxy studio Saturday the 29th of October. It would be good if we can start the tour at 15h00 sharp. The whole visit will take about 1hr to 2hrs, depending on the studio bookings that day. As their former in house engineer, I'll be your guide. Arriving at the gate you just mention 'Galaxy Tour', after which you can park your car in the parkinglot. We can meet in the reception area. From experience I know these kind of tours only work if we don't interfere too much with the studio's daily routine. As for drinks: Coffee is free; softdrinks, beers,... aren't. As for dinner: I'll check if they're willing to cater. There are some nice restaurants in the city center as well, but with that many people be prepared it must likely won't be 'à la carte'. For those arriving by plane: either Brussels Airport or Antwerp Airport is fine. In both cases it takes about 1hr to get to your destination by car. The addres: Galaxy Kievitstraat 42 2400 Mol You can find various route maps in different languages on their website: http://www.galaxystudios.com --------------------------------------------------------- So, we were talking about something in Antwerp? Is that fine for everyone? Early September sound good to me... Wadayathink? I'll be soooo happy to meet you all guys!!! |

First week of September ok for me. So... you want to hold that meeting in a restaurant, café? I can sort that out. Is there a secret handshake I need to know of? |

No need for a secret handshake, a slut recognises a slut from miles away (that day-dreamer attitude...)My guess is that meeting in a bar or on a terrasse late in the afternoon (sun, pleaaaase) and then ending in a restaurant would be nice since many of us will have to drive for a while to get there. Any places you know of? |

I might organise a little tour at Galaxy Studios if you guys are interested. It's 50mins from Antwerp in the countryside. We could start there & head towards the Antwerp restaurant later. Or we could just meet in the pub & talk gear, get wasted, go to the restaurant, do the Galaxy thing next time... |

Don't take the 10th for fact yet! Chris Lambrechts reminded me that it's IBC trade show then, which he'll probably attend. And possibly other slutz that could join us too. Other possible options for a date? Maybe a week later?

It's gonna be hard to find a date that suits everyone For me even a weekday is fine, september is still holiday for me :-) So you guys decide, but i think it'd be nice if Chris Lambrechts could attend too (he's our beloved high end mod after all, e), so the 10th might be a problem.

Yeh I wanna be there of course. thing is, I reserved about a week early september for my gf. I'm up till my arse finishing the *SOFA* album atm (deadline=21st august) So she wants some time alone w/ me for a while. You know how they get ![]() I'll have to talk to her when she gets back from Switzerland to see what the score is. Perhaps she just wants a few days away iso like 10 days. I'll report back. cheers, Yvo |

| Gear nut | Great I'm in
I'm in too. Should be fun. I've done this thing on other forums, we had meetings in Brussels, Amsterdam and just last weekend in London. September is fine. I go with whatever date you decide. Antwerp is perfect, I'm in Dendermonde... The only Slutz I met in real life are Chris L, Fletcher, Dan Kennedy, Wes Dooley, and Dave Hill. Should be exciting. Galaxy sounds fine too. Cheers Arthur |

Guys ... it's starting to look like september might be difficult ... for me it would have in the very beginning. IBC weekend is hard and after that it gets even harder. I doubt I would be able to make it any of the september weekends unless the first one and since there's allready a bunch of people not available then I suggest we move it to Oktober ?
