Any feedback on the Dav BG501 preamp for the 500 format?
I am curious to how these sound. Any comparisons to other 500 series preamps?

Well I have the DAV BG-2. Not bad, but I'm not wild about them either. I advice you to look further and maybe spent more to get something worthwhile.

If it's as good as the rest of the DAV line... then it's probably in the "should avoid" category.
