lynxtwo b to motu 828mk2

hello i just go a lynxtwo b soundcard,

is it ok to use my new lynxtwo soundcard to put the the outputs–into my motu 828, so i can use the motu to controll my sound outputs–like a mixer?

or is it better if i just connect the lynxtwo out put straight out to my bryston amp that goes to my dynaudio monitors?


and what is the best sample clock rates that i should use? should i just clock it to the highest setting?
