Hi Folks, May be someone can give me a tip here... I recently bought a sontec MEP250C and am looking for a qualified person to give it a good cleaning. The unit works fine , it only has some scratchy pots. Is there anybody qualified enough in New York or somewhere else to deal with this delicate task? Cheers... |

I've heard Chris Muth of Dangerous Audio(maker of the Dangerous 2 Bus) fixes them up and he's in the city if i'm not mistaken

I found the studio with google! Thanks! Sounds like a bridge away from where i am... Also, i tried to look for some infos on the MEP250 serie but there is not much on the web... Would you or anybody know the difference between the MEP250A, C and X ? |

The As and Cs had larger dual concentric knobs for two of the functions (I can't remember, but I THINK it's boost/cut and bandwidth) and the EX had them on seperate knobs. I'm sure there are mechanical differences, too, I just don't know what they are. They all sound great and have zero official support. Chris Garges Charlotte, NC |

I know there are pretty impossible to fix that's why i want somebody who knows them to handle the cleaning job... Thank you guys for sharing your knowledge... |
