Question Clocking question Cranesong HEDD 192?

I am looking forward to connect a Cranesong HEDD 192 via SPDIF IN and OUT as kind of OTB analog loop.

I like to clock the HEDD from an external clock via SPDIF - is this possible?

At the sample rate knob i only see the WC option - does this refers only to clocking via BNC connection or can you also you also select this option when you want to clock the HEDD with an external clock via SPDIF.

I assume the DA section of the Cranesong could slave to an external SPDIF clock. But what about the AD section of the HEDD - will it clock automaticly to the DA section of the HEDD?

I like to clock the HEDD from an external clock because i want to reprint the "OTB loop" to a new track in the DAW.

No it only works on the WC input or internal clock; this way you can use the AD and DA independently at different sample rates, which is a big plus in many cases.

You can also make HEDD the master of your interface and DAW, this should work fine and you won't need wordclock for that.
Good luck,
