Thread Starter | DW FERN 2 CHANNEL VS TUBE TECH 2CHANNEL
Can anyone describe the tonal differences between these two pres.I will be using a royer sf24 and a pair of geffel m930's and generally 60db of gain is sufficient.

Not too much for ya here, but I gotta say this. I have the single channel Fearn...and it smokes! Absolutely my favorite pre to date...not bad considering I own original 1272s and some API's.....Not that those don't knock me in the dirt as welll, just the Fearn really has a cool sound. Just my 2 cents...

the stereo active Royer with the TubeTech MP1a should be a great match...cant you get someone to loan you one tubeTech's distributor in the US..TC...has a very flexible demo policy ...contact your dealer
