So whats the best mastering plug-in suite?

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for some sort of mastering plugin suite. I looked at TC's offerings as well as some of the waves stuff. Which route should I take? What helps you get that "Record" sound. On big projects I always send off for mastering but alot of "Trash for cash" projects arent willing to spend that so I want to be able to offer them something. Thanks in advance.

Waves Masters bundle is great for some inhouse mastering.

I'm not a great fan of the tc plugins ... although I love some of their hardware units.

are you a PT user?
Nice Junior mastering can be done with
Q10, POWER DITHER, C4, MASTER X, L1, L2, MC DSP STUFF, and of course WAVES MASTER BUNDLE.
I almost won a national contest prize just using Q10 > TC MAster X in 2000, MTV airplay..
hugs

i think the sony stuff is the way to go....i know some people talk up sony, some people say they are overrpiced...
but obviously best way is to demo the mastering package and the sony plugs.
If you're on HD, the thing that is appealing to me, is that you can run the sonys at all sample rates and use them on tracks without hideous sample delays.

I think with the sonys though you have to find what your looking for, it's probably not always going to hit you right away like putting on a c4 and L2, but the end result may tend to be better if you work hard to understand the sonys...
blah blah blah blah blah
