Not Quite

No, you read that you have to send an email to a particular address to get the list. Since its published in the April issue of PSN, I'm not going to post it here.

2 Things

The List is the list of equipment from the now defunct Hit Factory that is available through Pro Audio Design, Inc.

PSN is an acronym for Pro Sound News, a monthly publication that ran an article about Pro Audio Design acquiring most of the gear from Hit Factor and advertising (essentially) an email address where individuals can inquire about the List.

The email is hitfactorygear@proaudiodesign.com. The email has always been the same for a while now. I guess the list is not ready yet,

cl, if I lived in NY I'd go there in person. Hell I'm thinking of flying up there just to stiff through all the goodies.

Any idea what is LEFT and available? I'm sure the in-house staff got first dibs. I wonder what is left in good shape. When Power Station (now Avatar) closed, at least we could ID the gear that was functioning & in racks versus the stuff that was in repair.

Sorry for the lack of news to date, but here is the latest on the gear that Pro Audio Design has from the Hit Factory in NYC.

Last week we completed removal of all the gear, which involved 10 53-foot Trailers, and 8 24-foot box trucks and 10 weeks of labor for a team of 4. We now have a warehouse bursting at the seams with everything we could get out of there, right down to the doors, glass, ceiling and wall treatments. We took everything that wasn’t screwed down, and a lot of stuff that was!

We will be offering equipment at three levels of service:

1) Certified Pre-owned – unit has been tested, serviced and calibrated so that it performs at or beyond original manufacturers spec. Includes One year warranty.
2) Functional – unit has been tested, and functionality has been determined. There may be minor issues, such as scratchy pots, noisy switches, etc., however basic functionality is assured. 7 day return policy applies, but no warranty is included.
3) As-is – No testing or calibration has been done, unit is sold strictly as-is with no warranty.

Later this week we’ll be sending out a list of what is available. If you want to receive this list, send an email to hitfactorygear@proaudiodesign.com.

Due to the sheer volume of gear, we will be testing and servicing the gear as it sells. Obviously, anything sold as-is will be available right away, functionality testing should take about a week, and Certified Pre-owned refurbishing should take about two weeks, pending availability of necessary parts.

So stay tuned for our email, and thank you for your patience.

PS: If you have immediate needs, call and speak with one of our systems consultants. They can serve as your advocate, or “personal shopper” if you will, and alert you to special opportunities or hard to find “gems”, as well as package pricing for larger purchases.

Our systems consultants can be reached at 781-982-2600 or 877-223-8858.

Nope. I got an email a few weeks back saying that "the list" would be sent soon but I have not seen anything yet.

*shrug*

Yep that's what I was thinking as well....

I don't really have any cash now so it might not matter anyway but I would like to see what is available.
