Tascam DM24 question

Hi everyone,

How can I monitor chanel through let's say headphones and NOT have it going through main stereo out? Is there any way to do separate sub out from that thing and have only selected chanels go through the sub out?

Thanks,
Peter

Although I wouldn´t really consider any Tascam product high end .............

On the DM24 you have 4 assignable sends (right next to the phones jack), use one of these to send to your cue system (note that this signal will need to be amplified before headphones). Assign any of the 8 available aux sends that you would like to this assignable send.
Make sure that these sends are assigned pre-fader on all the channels.
Create your unique cue mix off of these aux sends.

Pretty much cue mix 101

Jon,

thank you for the great DM 24 blog.

I have a question I hope you can help me with.

I have a DM-24 with the IF/FW -DM card. I am running Windows 7 and Cubase 6

I want to set up 17,18,19 & 20 to be returns and connect them to the AUX send 1/4 in jacks

IF/FW 17 -> AUX 1
IF/FW 18 -> AUX 2
IF/FW 19 -> AUX 3
IF/FW 20 -> AUX 4

Do you know how to configure this?

Thank you in advance for you time
