Mastering Studios (London, USA)???

Hi,

I´ve got a recording studio in Spain: http://www.apset.com/html/eng/index.htm

As you can see it´s based in PT HD, Apogees, Focusrites, etc.

I´ve got a new client and he is goint to record and mix some Chill out and Ambient records here (Café del Mar, Ibiza, etc) and he wants to master the mixes out.

Do you now any mastering studios for this kind of music in London or in the States: I´d prefer Miami but New York or LA could be good too??

He´s got a reasonable budget, so I need good references...

Brad Blackwood

he works in memphis. you can transfer files to him via ftp. he is probably one of the best mastering dudes out there right now.

If you need high end mastering with low price have look at AudiopleXus mastering in London UK they are great

I usually go to either Metropolis in London, and use Tim Young.
I used to go to Abbey Road quite often too, but sadly, my fav mastering enginer, Chris Blair has passed... He is still sadly missed.

Another vote for Metropolis in London. Ian Cooper or Miles Showell are my favourites, but all the guys are good. Best mastering house in Europe.

Yes Metropolis is very good but it depend of who you are
Adrian maybe a little biased as this web site show picture of metropolis studio so?????
Also try to get a copy of Sound on Sound about online mastering and Metropolis didn't do so well
You should ask them to give you a trial test and see what the best is for you.
AudiopleXus have been open only for an year so give it time I'm sure .........
And if you want the very best try Gateway studio in Maine USA they mastered more hit then any one....
