Audio & Design F 700 how does it sound ?

Does anybody could descibe the sound of the Audio & Design F 700 ?
Anybody knows how much it's worth ?

Hard to describe but they are excellent compressors, also very flexible. Everything sounds "big" when you use them. They were used in the old Helios consoles. Price maybe around $1000 for a "raw" unracked module in great working condition.

You can also use 'em to really smash things....wasn't "When the Levee Breaks" done with them?

It's a nice compressor but the pots and switches can be flaky and they're tricky to work on, so you might check that before you buy.

Audio Design and Research in England will still service them if need be.

Echorecs' price seems about right to me.
