Monitoring with Martin Logan

Does somebody use Martin logan Speakers for monitoring in Studio ?
I use a Genelec 1031 A and I would like to have a second monitor like the Ascent , I like the sound specially on voices , it is a good idea ?
I would have the best monitor for a absolute great sound on voices .

ML's might be an asset in mixing.........the lack of a crossover fuzzing up the mids might let you hear more clearly the blend/distortion you're creating yourself......

I used to mix on some genelec 1030's and a classe' audio powered Martin Logan system. It worked out well for me. I have since changed the 1030's to a pair of S3a's which have allowed me to come a lot closer without checking on so many systems, translation is 10 fold better. I also upgraded the Martin Logans (mostly because humidity in chicago caused too much change in their sound for me to really mix and master on them). I now use Innersound Isis speakers. Small sweet spot but they dont change with the weather, and they really show what a mix is made of.

Do you Think that electrostatic speakers have a better sound on voices than dynamic speakers like Genelec and others like B&W 800, 801 or 802 ?

I think either method of speaker design can give you a good honest representation of the sound. I hated my genelecs cause they made everything sound good, even if the mix later proved to suck. I liked the Martin Logans but they changed sound a little with the weather. I am now using the Adams for main monitors and Inner Sound Isis electrostats for bigs and checking mixes. I think 801's and other high end mains would work fine too. There are lots of speakers that lie and lots that dont. I think using a reference volume is just as important to mixing vocals.

It's easy to place the electrostatic speaker like the Martin logan in the studio , what it's the good position to the console ?
The Adam S 3 have good mids compare to the Genelec , natural on voices ?
