Thread Starter | ISO High-end digital-to-analog transfer studios? I'm curious about studios that specialize in high-end analog transfers. What I would be interested in are studios that use Apogee DA16 or other high-end multi-track converters to transfer from, say ProToolsHD 96Khz, to a Studer 827. I imagine this would be somewhat time-intensive, because you would need to optimize the signals to tape. Anyone know places equipped to do this or that specialize in this sort of thing? I'm working on a project that I would like to end up on 2" 24-track for mixdown. I'm also curious about 15 ips w/ Dolby SR. I'm not sure whether we'll go with that or with 30ips. We're going to mixdown to 1" 2-track ATR102/Aria at 15 ips. Any pointers? -- chad |
