| Amp and Crossover Recommendation for High End Passive Monitors? I'm looking for 2 amps and crossover to power Westlake 3-way monitors. Westlake recommends a Bryston 4B for the woofers, 3B for mid/highs with a 10B crossover... Can anyone recommend quality alternatives for less $$ ? Here are the specs of the speakers: Woofer - 12" Midrange - 6.5" Tweeter - 1" Frequency Response ( +/- 3dB ) 40Hz-20kHz Power IEC Short/Long 110W/300W Sensitivity @ 1m/2.83V 91dB Crossover Frequency 160Hz/4.5kHz Impedance Nominal/Minimum 5/3 Inputs Double, Dual, 5-Way Binding Post for Bi-Wire/Bi-Amp Operation |

| Gear maniac | Try here. They have the 400/700 watt (8/4ohms) versions too, just not listed. I'm crazy about similar class D amps, have 2 Bel Canto S300s. DIYCable.com : Intro » Home » Exodus/Hypex Amps » Exodus Amps Design: Hypex Electronics B.V. Look at Ucd discussions here: PSW Recording Forums: Brad Blackwood => Favorable Hypex amplifier review... diyAudio Forums - Class D Good luck.
