how to calibrate levels on Lynx Aurora converters?

alrighty,

can anyone advise me on how to go about checking the calibration of levels on all channels of my Lynx Aurora?

it has come to my attention in another thread here that there may be discrepancies across channels and i would like to check mine asap.

thanks,

For output; feed the exact same test signal (tone) from the computer to all the channels. Hook up the outputs, one by one, to the same VU or peak meter with enough resolution. You can also use a multimeter with true RMS reading to measure the AC voltage.

Once you've checked the outputs, you can use a loop-back cable to check inputs too.

Hope this makes some sense. Or just call a tech ;-)

thanks for the replies.

i figured that i would have to check the calibration like that and since i dont have external meters ill have to use a multimeter. oh, the fun.

now, since they cant be calibrated in-situ...

well, that's a whole can of worms.
