Best way to dump on too masterlink?

Ok somebody help me please. I am recording mixed songs to my Masterlink. So it comes out of my digidesign 192 then in a Alan Smart C2 then out of the C2. Should I use the AD converters on the Alesis or go back into protools and come out digital to the Alesis? I try going back into protools I dont like the sound. Maybe I am doing it wrong or the only way is to buy seperate ad converters. Would seperate A/D converters sound much better then the Alesis? I thank anybody with suggestions.

I like to record my (analog summed) mix to the Masterlink at 96k 24 bit

(even though my PT sessions are 48k 24bit)

I do this via a Cranesong Hedd converter..

IMHO the best thing is to try is....

ALL WAYS POSSIBLE

....... then judge the final results once they have been converted to 44.1 16 bit

Do try 96k 24 bit on your Masterlink..
