Recording 12 strings guitar with 2 mics

For next project I have to record 12-strings all graphite guitar that is quite loud and very bright. In same I don't wish it to sound cold or clinically clear.
Normally I use two mics setup.
Any experience in relation to mics choice to be shared?

I do a 3 input setup when recording acoustic guitar (6 or 12 string) and use a Peluso 22 47LE on the body, a Peluso CEMC6 on the neck, and an Avalon U5 for the DI. The 22 47LE is run through an Amek CIB and the CEMC6 and the U5 are run through a DBX 786. I'm getting great sounds with this setup.

Try some ribbons. Royer SF 12 or a pair of 121s.
They will smooth the high end and add body and something analogous to compression. They need at least 50 dB of gain and maybe as much as 70 depending on the source, so you need a good quiet mic pre. I've had good luck with Neve 1272 or 1073, also Aphex 1100(more open).
