These knobs will change your sound!!!

Ok, So I was just getting used to all the audiophile crap when I see this.

http://www.referenceaudiomods.com/Me...Category_Code=

What the hell are these guys smoking? I guess if you have $500.00 to spend on a knob you must have money for some pretty good stuff but still, How stoned do you have to be to think your stereo sounds better because you bought new wood knobs?

Just proves that crack does kill

Mr. Green,
There are volumes written about the effect of packaging on perceived value, look at all the horrid sounding plugins with 'retro' graphics....

BUT PLEASE, let's NOT get this thread started, OK?

There are pages of this already expressed HERE:

The emperor has new knobs?

Reminds me of the $10,000 screwdrivers the US military was buying in the 1980s.

That's what we call money laundering.

Hey don't knock it until you try it!

I read an article about how polarity can make a difference so that your speakers push when they should and pull when they should. I reversed the phase of one of my speakers. It sounded so much better that I switched the other one too.

Sorry,I gotta ask Tiny.

Did it go back to sounding shit once you reversed the second speaker?

I like to freeze my cd's to keep them in suspended animation. They diminish in quality otherwise.

Is the quality really diminished? I thought it was suspended.

The beech wood is coated several times with C37 lacquer for best sound as pointed out by Dieter Ennemoser.

That knob looks at me while I am naked and calls its friends.
Now is the time on Sprockets when we dance!!!

I had a grade 6 teacher that looked like that. She had to take a "vacation" after we were done with her.

Good times, good times...

Actually, if you are careful, you can augment the quality...
