Rack mounting Lavry AD-10?

I'm purchasing a Lavry AD-10 for project studio/mobile rig and have been advised that Lavry doesn't provide a rack mount kit for a single half space unit (as opposed to two units).

How do any of you who own a single AD10 or DA10 rack mount these units? - remember it's also for a mobile rig so the mounting should be sturdy.

thanks in advance.

I'd like to know this as well. I've got a few Lavry's and it would be nice to rack them -- if not, I'll just have a metalworker friend of mine cut and bend some rack ears for me.... LOL

There is a way of doing it without getting one of those ugly rack shelves.

Order the Lavry mounting kit for two units, screw the rack ears in on the AD10. (this will get you halfway there).

Then get a 1u metal blanking panel and cut it in half so it lines up with the holes on your rack unit and the AD10 mounting kit rack ear holes. Then drill two holes in the blanking panel that line up with the lavry rack ears, screw the two together and voilla its done.

Having said all that though the sluttiest thing to do would be to just get the DA10 and rack it up with your AD10. The pair look very nice when they are together!

I just bought Prism Sound Orpheus through Sound Tools 3 weeks ago and still waiting for the rest 250£ and receipt.

How pro is that?
