I bought a GSSL comp of IGS Audio from Yareck(GS) last year. Sounds good! Pity their site is in Polish only. Henk

I find it very problematic that this company seems to profit on DIY-constructions that are explicitly not allowed in commercial context.. :-( Jakob Erland Gyraf Audio |

Actually those products are distributed by Music Toolz. And if you run commercial facility you should care about illegalness tutt

| There is an english version
Sorry, there is a button on the right hand side for English, but I totally did not see at first. What I am interested in is the pre amp, anyone has used it? Your opinion? sincerely, |

sorry, i haven't been here for a while. Quote:
i haven't got enough time to test it properly (i'm a student and i was learning for the session), but it seems to be absolutely outstanding. IGS is making two types of preamps - solid state (1272-inspired) and the tube one (the one i own). i haven't used the first one, but Dual Triode is absolutely outstanding (even without considering its reasonable price!).

Having bought igs 2176LN and igs SType recently, I must say I am quite impressed. Sounds great, it is properly built and looks professional. Mr. Igor Sobczak is also a cool person to deal with. Syncro www.gunjah.cz GunJah Rec. on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Videos |

I've answered my own question..... I have the S-Type Mix Buss Compressor. Very impressed with the sound and build of the unit. Like I mentioned in another thread, it's up there in quality of stuff I've paid more than 2 times the price. Since I'm in the US, I will take a pic of the outside of the unit (inside pics are on IGS Audio's website) and post it if anyone is interested. |

I own their stereo mix bus ( ala ssl4k buss comp clone) it's very well build and it's absolutely fantastic on master buss or on drums I have several analog compressors, but if I mix hip hop or rock that beast is my first choice... fully recomended

Well... "users" I guess draw the line. I'll never be a user because they are so closely related to non-profit DIY projects. It's like paying someone to make some music for you... only for them to take it from someone else without them asking. If you already a "user" of this gear... then of course you won't have a problem with it. I'm sure you will hate people if they steal your music, but this gear you have paid for so it's ok to turn a blind eye to it.

Read the comments in this thread which clarifies some things about the product: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/new-p...ompressor.html Quote:

I've seen it. I've also spent quite a bit of time looking at their website. It's all just regurgitated DIY designs. If the group diy forum didn't exist, would this company exist? Ultimately, my conclusion is no. It wouldn't. When it boils down to the actual designs of these pieces of gear, IGS is a company that is selling absolutely nothing that is original. Just copied.
