| amp for mixcubes? im interested in mixcubes as second fair of monitors,and i thought to get the alesis RA-300 or crown XLS 202 D. i wonder with amp you use\recommend to go with them? tnx. |

| If you don't already own them I would purchase the powered Mixcubes. I have them and they are quite nice. |

| well,the thing is that i got the passive one's as a present,and i talked with the shop where they got them for me,but they dont have the active one's in stock.... this is way i asked with amp people use with them,and if thus amps,alesis RA-300 or crown XLS 202 D,will be good ? |

| You don't need to spend "high end" for these. I have the unpowered mixcubes and use an ART SLA-100 and it works great. Plenty of headroom. |

| Any amp is fine. Be sure to BREAK THEM IN, powered or passive, as they open up nicely in 70-100 hours.

| We had them [actually only used one in mono] for a while [back to my Auratone 5C... for no other reason than I prefer the "simulated wood grain" finish]... used a McIntosh MC-2100 on it... worked great!!!

| Amp I use a Crown Com-Tech 210 on mine. Bought it on evilbay for about 125 bucks. Works great for the mixcubes. You really don't want anything good to drive these guys. It kind of defeats their purpose.
