| MCI 600 series console preamp input impeadance? My Buddy in Timmins has an MCI 638 (600 series) console. I want to use my Royer 121s on his console. Does anybody know what the imput impedance is on the mic inputs for these consoles? I need at least a 1500ohms for the Royers thanks

| I have an MCI boat anchor, I mean 636. I'll check the manual when I get to the studio today and let you know. I can tell you that I almost never use the mic pres in that monster. I got the thing for free from a buddy and basically use it to create headphone mixes on and heat the room. It has to be one of the most overly-complicated consoles made. I weep every time I think how I sold my Trident. Chris |
