Cranesong Analog Dither CD - How good?

Has anyone tried Cranesong's Analog Dither CD? They claim:

Now YOU can order a CD of the same analog-sourced dither material found in the SPIDER and HEDD 192, direct from Crane Song. This CD supplies a form of dither that has been specially "shaped" to enhance lifeless digital audio.

Is it worth the $27.95? Anyone?

Yes worth, but as i see/hear only good for digital only things like if u made a full software only music and in this case its greatly improve the feel, but on real recorded things dont do to big... depending on use but worth 30usd

I have it ... got it for free with some gear.. I did not find it much useful. It somehow tends to emphasise bass (to make it slightly "muddy"). Usual dithers are more balanced to my ears.

How can added noise emphasize bass? I am so curious that I actually ordered the CD today...

I must say I am a little bit surprised. I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me, but I can hear a change in sound when I add it. Low frequencies sound less flat (for the lack of better word...).
What is quite surprising - it brings up the noise level up to -60dBFS.

Did you lower the level to where they specify?

I've been using my own custom dither lately, composed of recordings of the wind going through the pines at Sequoia National Park. I began with that then tailored the frequency response to match the Cranesong dither. I think the occasional raindrops and bird sounds add a subliminal pleasure to the experience.
