Spectrum Analyzer

Hi, where can I get a Spectrum Analyzer that can be hooked to my monitoring system? That is, I don't want to use a microphone. I want to be able to look at the shape of my two mix as well as be able to look at the shape of a favorite cd. I remember seeing a 1 rack space unit at a few places and they sat it right on the bridge, but I don't remember what brand. The only units I've been able to find are the multi-thousand dollar bench test units. Please Help!
Thanks,
Mitch

Goldline used to make some less expensive units (and limited to audible frequencies).

If you have a computer available, you can use a software RTA...

I think he wants an hardware unit, not software.

I've actually used a consumer one before...those terrible eq's with
spectrum analyzer on it. I can't remember the one I have (stored away, 'BSR'?), but it cost me like $100 and the analyzer portion of it wasn't so bad, work well enough for basic viewing. The eq in the unit was the absolute worse eq I ever experienced in my sorry life! Digital eq from like 10 years ago on a $100 unit, yuk, I thought it was broken.

In any case, check out some of the consumer ones, you might be surprise.

Just make sure to send it a mult, don't put it in-line!
