Hi all, I have AMEK DMCL in my rack and use it as ultra clean pre for acoustic instruments recording. Now, I have possibility to purchase one more at low price (the unit is discountinued of production). Any opinion of other users about DMCL and CIB from AMEK. To warm a path I add sometimes SPL Qure tube eq at insert. I can hear nothing than excellent results. One question Is it advisable to purchase new Apogee Rosetta 200 (with 192 KHz sampling rate) if I work mainly on 24/48 kHz projects (in other words does gear improved in higher sample rates improve sounds on lower sample rate too)? Now I use RME ADC and have no complaint on 24/48 operation. Thanx Greg |
