Who's using this pre? Does it fall into the clean and transparent category?

It falls in the BIG AS A HOUSE category. I own 7 MDP-1s. They sound unreal. I own Fern, Manley, Neve, Shep, Trident, API, Focusrite, to name a few. Pendulum is my favourite tube mic pre. It is gigantic. Nice DI too. I recommend it to anyone going for extremely fat sounds. Good Luck! If you have any particular questions, feel free to ask.... Kris

Kris, from what i remember from RAP,you had the "full" versions of the mdp-1a ( with transformers on the output),did you ever compare the standard and "full" version?

Pendulum MDP-1, goood stuff Maynard. Very clean, lots of gain, and if you want to "enbigin" you can.
