Question SSL Duality

Hi guys

anyone know if you can "null" the faders on this console...

like the absolute state on older ssl's?

peace

Hello,

Yes you can do this on Duality.

We still have Absolute Status switching and of course Trim together with a handy all Faders to 0db switch.

We really tried to keep some Automation familiarity for experienced SSL users.

Hope this is useful,

If you press MISC on the Monitor panel you will see options to set the Fader level to OFF or up to 0db.

Thanks Sam, so I guess this function could be performed with "off" because "up to 0db", doesn't null the faders, it put them literally in "0" and your mix is gone!

Best regards.

Well I would suggest engaging TRIM mode first.

In the "good old days" we used used to set all the faders with a big long piece of wood! No motors then........
