Equipment rental... by mail?

Ok I got a pretty decent sized project coming up and I'd like to rent a cranesong hedd and maybe a pair of distressors for a couple days. There are no local places around that I'm aware of, so anyone know of any decent places close by (probably new york) that fedex's equipment rentals? None of the stuff is very big so I couldnt imagine it being TOOOO terribly expensive to ship here and back.
