There's really a studio in Nashville named "DIY Studio." Yes, it does stand for "do it yourself."

Nice friendly helpful attitude there.

I can't believe someone put Turd Polishing Inc.. I was going to say Turd Polisher Recording.

Instead:

Magic cowbell trick in GERMAN

GERMAN German: KUHGLOCKEN (pronounce COOGLOCKIN)

SWISS German: CHUEGLOGGE (pronounce CH (typically itchy swiss CHCHCH, like white noise with a bandpass filter on it, compare it to Croatian "h", the Dutch also use that sound) again: CH-UHEE-GLAGGE' (last E very short)).

Hope that helped.

"The Car Always Blew Up on CHiPs" studios.

you can abbreviate it to Cabuoc. people will be like "is that Eskimo or something?" and then you can explain to them how the bad guy's car always blew up on CHiPs when it rolled off the side of the road.

Actually, I'm gonna use that for myself!

It probably has no humor at all for you since you are in Switzerland. But if you killed some time in front of a TV in America between 1980 and 1983, you'd find it funny.

I can't think of anything "Swiss" off the top of my head other than watches, chocolate, and tug-of-war. But if something pops into my head I'll let you know.

Since you are talking about producing, writing, and mixing, the studio is as much about you as it is the gear. So I would explore the idea of having the name reflect something about your personality.

Maybe you could tell us some things about your personality and what you like and dislike. That might spark some clever ideas.

For example, a friend of mine is a coffee fanatic. He always has a cup of coffee in his hand and he's always wired up. So I would call his studio something like "Grinding Beats". The logo could be a fun drawing of a pair of drumsticks banging on the bottom of a coffee can with electric lightening bolt sound waves shooting out from all sides. That way you get the music (beats), the coffee (grinds) and his wired-up personality all in one shot.

Just something to think about.
