| Peluso 2247, 2247SE, 2247LE, VTB - what's the difference????!!! What's the difference between these 4 mics I hear a lot about them on GS - the 2247, and the VTB however there are 3 2247's!!!!!! whats the difference??? -------------- i'm looking for a good VOCAL mic - I wont say what style yet ----------------- |

| Here's how I usually explain things when customers ask: 2247 (short body): short body U47, modified to German radio broadcast specs - suitable for voice over and radio work 2247SE: reproduction of the famous recording studio U47, made with a Red American tube inside 2247LE: reproduction of the famous recording studio U47, made with a NOS Telefunken EF-14 tube inside (2db higher noise floor over the SE) VTB: reproduction of a German bottle microphone but within .5db of the Sony C800 when you put it on the frequency graph (very difficult to tell the difference between the Sony and the VTB in a side by side)
