Which RMG tape?

I am curious which tape sounds more 70ish. As far as I'm concerned there has never been any better sounding music. The band Boston is the sound I like the best. Tape compression is definitely part of that sound and that is the kind of tape I am looking for. Tom Scholz from the band says that he likes Scotch 226 the best, and that the heavy tape saturation is part of his sound. I believe he must have used 206 on the first Boston record, because I don't think 226 was out yet.

You can slam 900 pretty hard and it sounds good...

Not really the same, but 911 would be the closest RMG tape to 226. Don't underestimate the use of Dolby A in the 70s.
